I would recommend using another rental service in fort Wayne. The car selection is not very good, you do not get to choose your vehicle even if you have status. This is a franchise location so none of the normal rules apply. #missingmyemeraldaisle
I disagree 100% with the previous reviewer. I came in on the last flight of the night and the person working the counter was absolutely pleasant. She got me settled quickly and the car I received was relatively new...and all the cars on the lot also appeared to be later models.
Not a fan of franchise nationals. The reason to rent from National is the fact that you have choices of cars to rent for the same price as their midsize. With franchises like Fort Wayne you don't get choices of which car you can pick......my choices were cruize or malibu. On top of that if you work the way I work you may have to drive somewhere else and use a different airport (needed to take a flight that got me there earlier than 3pm), if it is not a franchise they charge you a few dollars more, but with this franchise if you drop the car at an airport 2 hours away they charge double the rate.
They said to come back to upgrade the car on Thursday, when I arrived they said no cars available! I spent 40 min driving to them and back in vain. They are just careless... don't if you can
