An amazing way to relax and treat your body to bliss!

Loved it. I had a wonderful time laughing inside the chamber and doing water angles (think snow angles)

Please know that my review is not for the float experience itself, but more importantly for the business. Specifically the owner Andrew. I had heard about floating and thought it might be fun. I told my family about it and they purchased me a 3 pack session for Mothers Day. My mom actually called the business and spoke with Andrews wife and placed the order for the gift certificate over the phone. At no time was it mentioned any cancellation or return policy. I'll just get that out there right now. I went in for my float and within 15 minutes realized I wouldn't be able to do it. I didn't take into consideration the motion sickness I get. Not being able to settle myself sufficiently with this new experience immediately just wasn't conducive to floating. I got out, showered off and went up front. Andrew asked what the problem was and I explained. I asked what options were available since my family had purchased 3 sessions. He said "it's all over our website, there are no refunds given on any packages or sessions." Well, first Andrew, this wasn't purchased on your website, and second, no it isn't. I went to the site and looked. I even went so far as to attempt to order a certificate and it still doesn't say it. But that's really rather beside the point. He said I could give the sessions away to someone else. Well, no thank you Andrew. These were purchased for me as a gift, I'd actually prefer not to do that. He was adamant to the point of being nasty there were no other solutions. I brought up several times that I wasn't asking for a refund for the current session, that I FULLY understood they would have to clean the tank after my failed attempt, regardless how long I used it. He said package sessions are discounted. I apologized and said perhaps he misunderstood...I was even willing to pay the full price for one session. That truly, what would he be out? He would have a customer who would still walk away with a positive impression of his business, he would have earned his full price session and I would have left with not feeling disappointed that my family had wasted $150. In his attempts to be as absolutely rude as possible to me, he went on to say that it was my families problem for not having taken my motion sickness into consideration when they purchased it. When I pointed out that all he was doing was causing a really UGLY customer interaction, he became incredibly sarcastic and mocking me, speaking to me in this sing-song baby voice. It was quite frankly shocking. I've never had an interaction with a professional who treated me so poorly. What really topped it off was when he finally grabbed some money out of a drawer and started throwing it at me telling me fine, to take it and go. I was in utter shock. I could not believe he was choosing to treat me so disrespectfully as to throw my money at me as though I were dirt beneath his feet or some substandard human. I was instantly in tears and didn't even know how to respond. I was humiliated and completely demeaned by his treatment. All night all I could wonder was, did he treat me this way because I'm a woman, because I'm a minority or does it simply have this ugly demeanor toward everyone who doesn't fall in line. I can rest assure you, I won't be back to this establishment, not that I would be welcome-of that I am sure.

The float was so relaxing, you don't even know. It's like floating in between time and space. Like floating in a warm Galaxy. I love lifted my arms and they were like unused wings. Must try this.

Andrew (The owner as of August 2017) was very professional. I read the other reviews of Rivers Relaxation, to save face I believe there should be a response to the 1 star review. Otherwise, the facility was immaculate. I felt the price was very reasonable considering the amount of time you're given, and the atmosphere makes you feel calm and collected in the chamber and out. ♡

Sometimes a float is exactly what you need to relax. I have been multiple times and each float gets better. Your body and mind feel very relaxed and calm after a float. Very clean and easy to find.
