Last 3 times I've went there they didn't have pot pies. 1 time they only had 1 and didn't tell me until I got to the window in which case I ordered a 2 piece meal instead. Was happy when they handed me my food and told me they threw in an extra chicken strip for the inconvenience BUT I get home and the extra strip was nonexistent.
Very good service, fresh and hot chicken everytime. I live 165 miles from Ft Wayne and it's always an enjoyable experience at Lee's on state St.
Ordered chicken( 5- 10 pcs meals) for 20 people. Lee's aims to please. They helped carry it out to the car!! When I got home and unpacked they had included serving spoons, plenty of sauces for the strips, extra drumsticks as requested, and instead of all the little foam containers, it was in foil pans with lids for convenience. I have used Lee's for big family dinners a couple times a year over the last 20+ years. Rarely has there been a problem, if so, they've always made it right!! Great job, Lee's!!
Best dam spicy chicken I've ever had thank you! Do me a favor put one around Syracuse, Indiana. You would make it great here since out Ky Fried Chicken sucks! You deserve 10 stars and your people ate amazing!
If you're into chicken...there is no better. Cousins to the Colonel...no kidding. Blows KFC away in quality and taste. The tenders are juicyand big slander of chicken breast done famous or spicy. And the spicy brings the heat! The mashed potatoes and gravy are legendary as are the biscuits. Hand made and delicious. All for a side of gravyfor doing. The chicken and noodles are the ultimate in comfort food and can be ordered as a side. The 2 and 3 piece meals are jumbo diced compared to KFC and juicy...even the rotisserie chicken! Cole slaw is creamy with a bite...perfect. Mac and cheese is delish and the green beans are seasoned so well all my kids scarf them down. Refillable fountain drinks at the State street location of you eat in. Don't forget to check out the historical photos on the walls of Ft. Wayne back in the day. Never had a bad meal there. Check the mail and paper for coupons. They chime pout about once a month. Daily specials for lunch. Accessible from Wells St. Or State St. Great option for families finishing up a Zoo day!
