We started with the Tex Mex egg rolls, which were delicious--they came with 6 pieces and 2 sauces for $8, and tasted fresh and complex. (Keep the ranch and southwest sauces as dip for fries...yum!) We were trying not to spend a ton, so we opted for sandwiches. He got the pork barbecue, which had ham and bacon on it--he loved it! It was a generous portion and satisfied his big appetite. I got the B&B burger, because I had read a blog that listed BC as one of the best burger places in Fort Wayne. It lived up to the hype! I forgot To order it without onions, as they're not my favorite, but they really added to the overall taste and I was glad they were there. The waiter didn't ask me how I wanted the burger done, which I found odd, but it was cooked perfectly--tender, moist, with a smokey flavor.
The prime rib sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted. Our waitress, Molly, was attentive with a great personality. We love this place!
Great concept, but in many cases poorly executed. For example, you'll pay a lot for a pot roast sandwich with just a little bit of meat on it. Half of the time I've ordered fries, they've arrived semi-cold. If you order the Bao steamed buns, they'll have no discernible amount pork in them, and the sauce that comes with them is way too salty to the point of being nearly inedible. The sushi is absolutely horrific, PRE-MADE, so not fresh, and with hard, dried-out rice. The Thai steak salad is good and a safe choice. The tuna poke appetizer is very good. I feel like whoever planned this menu never bothered to actually taste anything. I'd like to see Gordon Ramsay with the owner's head between two slices of white bread, screaming "WHAT ARE YOU???" Good luck with whatever else you order that I haven't listed here. I can't imagine how this place could score more than a 3.0 on a good day, unless the people who love it just don't know any better. I don't care to ever go back unless I just gotta have that particular salad or tuna poke. Too many things I've had here are just *bad*.
We're so glad we stumbled upon this place. We arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday night and were told the wait would be 40 min for a table for 2 (not bad), or we could be seated on the patio right away. We opted for the patio, and loved the cozy atmosphere with fireplace, stonework, strung lights, and space heaters.
The wait staff was just the right amount of attentive, helpful, and not intrusive; I liked that they collaborated to take care of the patio as needed. We'll definitely go back! I want to try the bang bang shrimp tacos!
The food here is AMAZING! Highly recommend the Tex-Mex Eggrolls for an appetizer and their Cesar Salads are great as well. This restaurant is very nice and classy feeling. We love to celebrate special events here.
Fantastic food and experience. I can here with my parents and my dad had a steak that was cooked wrong. The management team went above and beyond to take care of us. Exemplary service, and quality food!
