Great food, reasonable prices. Clean, well kept. Excellent wait staff. They were very attentive, “Johnnies on the spot” as far as keeping drinks full and asking if anything was needed. This was all done even though we had a party of 12 at lunchtime. Highly recommended.
Some friends and I wanted to have a meal together and we decided on BJ's. The decision was mainly due to all of the positive chatter we've heard individually and collectively about this still fairly new restaurant in Fort Wayne. We met up on Friday 10/13 around 8pm and it took until around 9:30 or so before we were seated. No biggie other than being extremely hungry. We were finally seated and our waiter was cool with great energy (can't remember his name at the moment). Everyone placed their orders and when the food arrived that's when the wheels started to fall off. Several people received food that was too salty. Two of us ordered the same burger and it was dry. Food overall for me an a few others was cold. The small pizza I ordered was dry as well. Several in our party complained about their food. I soldiered through because of how hungry I was. Normally that wouldn't be the case though. So, several bills were adjusted to take off items that were too salty, cold, etc., which is cool, BUT for whoever was the manager on duty should have rendered a personal apology to our table. I find it very disrespectful to us to have to hear from our waiter alone that the bills have been adjusted. Had the manager came out and did whatever he/she could to make it right, you may still have some customers who want to return. Out of 10 people in our party maybe only 3 had satisfactory meals?!?!? I will not be suggesting this restaurant to anyone if they ask me about it.
So this was my fist time visiting BJ's and I have to say my overall experience was exceptional. From the food to the staff and the atmosphere, everything was great. The only issue to speak of was that our appetizer arrived after our entrees. I normally wouldn't mention this, one because they were pretty busy and it wasn't a huge deal, and two, because within seconds of our server noticing it, a manager was already at my table resolving the issue. I was extremely impressed with their attention to detail and exemplary commitment to the customer experience, not to mention they went above and beyond to make my birthday dinner extra special. If you're looking for family friendly casual dining in Fort Wayne, look no further!
Great place for casual dinning. Good selection of food in menu with amazing collection of beers, wine and alcohol. I have had good experience every time I have visited this place including great tasting food, excellent service and nice ambience. It is a bit on pricy side but you pay for what you get.
