Every time I buy something at Lowe's, big or small, something always gets messed up. Most recently my dishwasher and stove purchases. I had some major problems with my dishwasher installer, called to complain, was hung up on twice, and when I finally reached someone, they blew me off, and never called me back after saying they would "look into it". That was 2 months ago. Now they are trying to double charge me for my stove purchase, been to the store and talked to people on the phone only to told there is nothing they can do until ANOTHER $600 hits my account. This is wiping out my account and I won't see the money back for weeks. I am done with Lowe's. SAVE YOURSELF!
Worst display of customer service altogether that I've ever seen. My boyfriend and I stood at customer service where there were at least 4 people behind the desk for several minutes before any one of them left their conversations to even aknowledge us-when they did, we were treated as an inconvenience. The woman doing the transaction called another coworker and said "sorry I'm not back there, got STUCK with a customer". They have an elderly lady who sits behind the desk and scowls at everyone without ever saying a word. The person helping us purchase our mower was terrible at answering direct questions...he would start rambling about something else as if he just couldn't contemplate anything. And the icing on the cake was when the girl who rang us up, couldn't correctly read the total because it was in the thousands. Left the store after the whole deal feeling frustrated and exhausted by the entire experience. Should have taken our business down the road to Home Depot. Never going back.
Consistently fine service and reasonable prices. We buy a lot of flowers, etc. during the spring and summer. A good place to shop.
Bought a light fixture for around $90. The cheap bracket that it came with doesnt work, no way to "lock" it in place, so when you dust or clean it its going to spin, until the wires snap off and then spark and burn my house down. Lost a customer, possibly forever, with this light sale. Had to dig through my trash pile to steal parts off my old light to make this one work.
Extremely disappointed with the customer service from Lowe's Lima Rd Fort Wayne. It was difficult to find anyone to help me in appliances. Everyone acted as if I was an inconvenience to them. I had to walk back and forth to the service desk twice just to find a sales associate to help me make a purchase. After scheduling delivery of appliances I needed to change the delivery time but no one from Lowe's would return my call. I was finally assured I could change the delivery time and sat at home for four hours with all my groceries in coolers and they never showed up during the delivery window I was given. After trying to call the store to check delivery, I was hung up on and was transferred repeatedly. Never again! I just spent $3500 you would think there would be better service.
