For many tools, you can't go wrong with the price/quality balance here. Floor jacks especially...there's a reason why floor jacks are excluded from some coupon offers. This is because they're a great quality for an even better value. Haven't had issues with really any tools, however I've avoided things like compound miter saws from Harbor Freight, simply because off-brand on this type of tool might compromise precision cuts. Disposable type items are a steal here...rubber gloves, leather gloves, dust masks, sandpaper, etc... I will ALWAYS shop here.
Great place to get tools for a great price. They sell just about anything. There are always coupons available.
I have sent an employee to Harbor Freight on State Street several times a year. However, the last two times he has gone to purchase items he has experienced horrible customer service. Both customer service experiences were from the same employee at Harbor Freight.. CARLA should be retrained on how to service customers. She should be taught how to be honest and not throw a fit when a customer declines the membership that she pushes on everyone. Today she told my employee that he should sign up for ITC Membership and that it was absolutely free. If he was willing to sign up he would also get a 20% discount on the item he was purchasing for our shop. He declined the membership because he wasn't sure that I would want him to sign up for it or not. After 15 minutes of arguing with her... holding up the line.... She told him that if he didn't sign up for this membership that she was going to have to charge him off sale retail for the item. This item was on sale for $127.99 already, she said she was going to have to charge him $159.99 which is what the price is off sale. So he finally agreed to get the FREE membership because he was tired of arguing with her. Looking at the receipt..... she charged him $29.99 for the "FREE" membership??? He had the same kind of experience last time he had her as a cashier. Re-training may be in order!!!!
