It’s frustrating when you try to shop for furniture, but you feel the sales person is pushy and only worried about the sale. Michael did an amazing job at changing this stereotype!
I am so glad I decided to go Ashley for my furniture needs. Chris Pettit was beyond helpful and made my experience great! He was patient and went out of his way to show me multiple options for sofas and love seats. I would highly recommend asking for Chris, at the Lima Road location in Fort Wayne. I will definitely come back for future furniture needs.
Michael was amazing to work with! He greeted us at the door, but allowed us to browse the store without hovering, as some furniture stores do. He was able to answer all of our questions in a non-pushy manner. We expressed the need to check out other stores, and he was very understanding. This helped make our decision to shop Ashley Furniture. As we returned a few hours later, Michael sold us the sectional.
We were very impressed with our sales person Scott. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Even though we didn't purchase on our first visit he sent us a thank you card for coming in. On our return visit he was very helpful and answered all of our questions, and we did make a purchase.
I stopped in with my 5 year old daughter after looking for dining room tables at three other stores. I did not really like that your tables were not grouped together, but walked around and started looking. We had excellent service from Michael. After seeing about three fourths of the store, my daughter smelled popcorn and we were told that the neighboring furniture store had it. We hadn’t had lunch yet so we left to find the snack. They had the same table we liked best of what we’d seen so far at Ashley, but theirs was sold. I decided to look at their other tables while my daughter ate her popcorn because their tables were all conveniently grouped together. We ended up buying a table and came back to Ashley to look for bar stools (which we did buy). Poor Michael found out we bought a table next door that Ashley also carries - it was just in the fourth of the store we hadn’t been in yet.
TLDR - Your store lost a larger sale because your tables are too spread out and we were lured away by free popcorn. Your sales guy Michael was great!

Honesty! One star is probably too much for this store. They lied to me about how many weeks it would take to get my kitchen table. (I was told two weeks when I purchased it. It has been almost 5 weeks.) I was told they would call me if the date changed. They never called. The time for when they were going to deliver the furniture was inconvenient for me. The manager was terrible. He wasn’t willing to help me at all. He was sarcastic and rude on the phone. I totally regret my purchase. Do not waste your money. You are better off spending your hard earned money somewhere else.
