Great experience. You really need a two day pass. One pass to see the bottom 3 floors and the other for the upper floors. Great experience. Look forward to going back to Washington, DC again and again.
Worth the visit, so much potential, a very important part of the history of Fort Wayne, but you have to keep an open mind. I wanted this to be a great experience, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. I was there on "Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown" day, so maybe that was the problem, but it just was not a good museum experience. There was a person at the reception but they offered no explanation about how to best experience the museum so I asked if it was a self guided tour and she said yes, but then we ran in to two separate guided tour groups while there. The museum is full of great information, but it is not well organized nor well displayed and is in bad need of modernization. Seems like a great project for one of the several local colleges or universities to take on.
