They came out and "fixed" the roof. Next rain storm, it was leaking worse! We called them again and told them the roof was still leaking. They came back out and "fixed" it again. Next rain storm - the roof was still leaking! After a second fix!
Unsurprisingly, they didn't stand by their work. They said they could fix it, but it was going to cost $500 -$600. I regret that we chose them to fix the problem.
In the last year and a half, we have had DuHadway replaced 21 windows and 3 entry doors in our home. They just completed putting new vinyl siding on the entire house as well! Jim and Jim at DuHadway are very professional, friendly, very knowledgeable, and provided us with wonderful guidance when selecting them as our choice! Their siding guy (Stephen) and his brother-in-law did an exceptional job! The craftsmanship and quality of DuHadway's work is top-notch. If you want your project done right, call DuHadway! Their "fixes" will need to be removed, and we will be hiring a trusted contractor to install proper flashing.
We purchased an awning from DuHadway. A couple of weeks ago we had a wind burst that damaged the awning framing. The folks from DuHadway came and assessed the damage. They repaired the framing at no cost to us. The staff are professional and friendly. They will make sure that you are satisfied with their products and workmanship.
DuHadway built an addition on my house (prior to me purchasing it). The addition was only a few years old, but the roof already had a leak that was ruining the wood ceiling beam. We called DuHadway to fix the problem, thinking they would be the best to fix it - they built it!
I called a different contractor to look at the problem. He took me up on the roof and showed me their "fixes". They used tape where flashing was required and covered several areas with globs of caulk.
I had it with Jim Lewis, our point of contact. No returned phone calls or emails.
Best remodeling and building contractors in the area. Honest, professional, great value, and always put clients first. Someone you can trust.
Take a chance if you want, but I wouldn't recommend them!
