Got a 2012 VW golf but Shane Schooley was a nightmare of a salesman to work with. He was 'training' one of the new salesman and didn't seem to even have a grasp on how to do his job to properly train anyone else. He kept leaving the office while the new guy tried to do my paperwork. At one point he left the office into the showroom and came back a couple minutes later. As I was sitting there with my lady and the trainee, he belts out, "there's a hot blonde in a mini-skirt out there!" At this point I was really biting my tongue because this was such an ignorant thing to say. For one, it is completely unprofessional; two, there is absolutely NO ACCEPTABLE REASON that this 'man' should be itemizing/sexualizing women, especially customers of the dealership, and especially in front of his customers. Keep in mind, Shane was previously talking about his wife and kids. Also, the lady he spoke of in the 'mini-skirt' was wearing a business formal blazer and knee length skirt and appeared to be with a boyfriend/husband. My lady did go off on Shane for being so ignorant and i 100 percent felt the same. The trainee and manager apologized for his comments but that doesn't justify anything. Oh and also, Shane put 5 years of employment at my current job when I told him about 4.5 collectively because I had left for school then got rehired after I graduated. This caused my loan to get declined after being approved on a lie. Then I got financed by someone else with a bunch of hassle and multiple trips to the dealership. My interest rate was over 23% and guess what- here I am barely 3 months later and I refinanced it MYSELF and reduced my interest rate from 23% to 4.49%!! Way to screw me over Shane and Fort Wayne Nissan. You're all just money hungry and clearly didn't care about my experience as a first time car buyer. Oh and my payments went from $301 a month to $208 a month and that is with gap insurance!
Extremely disappointed in this place i talked to special financing thought i could get approved. But the person who took my application didnt call back so after 2 days i called and he was unprofessional. Saying that i wasnt approved and i had to get a cosinger or a couple thousand down. Why did you wait to tell me that your like the other car lots they lie. Dont tell a person to wait 10 min and refuse to call. I was unhappy with this place i understand i have bad credit and other issues. Smh.
After a routine oil change done at the Wal Mart Automotive Center, my maintenance engine oil and oil filter sensor came on. I took it in to Nissan's automotive service shop and Jackson was very helpful in fixing this issue- the sensors just needed reset. I am very appreciative for his help, and for not charging me to correct this minor issue. Thanks again!
