The auction sold a in-operable truck as operable truck. The truck was 'rigged' so it could drive through the lane to make the sale.
For example, if i buy a truck that is functioning and when i come to pick up, its missing an engine ,could they tell me that its my problem and i bought it AS-IS ?
Upon arrival my truck was not by the gate because it was NOT operable. The truck had major coolant leak into the oil and was smoking as soon as it was turned on. They kept telling me that the truck is mine, its AS-IS policy and its my problem. I tried explaining that this policy only applies to normal mechanical issues such as battery or broken window NOT for a blown engine.
One of the best Auto Auctions that I've ever been to. Great people that take care of their customers the right way. I use this auction on a regular basis to buy and sell vehicles. They are all about total integrity!

I spoke to couple local mechanics and they all assured me that the auction engages in such practices. One local mechanic gave me paperwork showing that the truck had gear oil in it in order to increase compression. Since they knew the truck is leaking coolant/water into the oil and that would make operating the truck dangerous. They put gear oil which is thicker and would not easily mix with water/coolant and therefore would allow them to drive the truck through the lane.
My grandma works here. She says its a nice environment what's good people.
I bought a truck at the fort Wayne IN Auction. The truck was operational. I made a payment. I waited over a month for the proper title to arrive!! Once the paperwork were inline, Liz Small told me the truck will be brought out to the front gate so I can pick it up.
I buy at the auctions and never had this problem.
