Nate at Art Werks Bike Shop is the best. Just a great guy. Does a lot of generous things for people who need help. He has been in to bike's his whole life. Not saying he's old, but we'll say wise. Always takes very good care of his customers. I bought an early 70's Chicago Schwinn and have loved it from day 1. If you are looking for a high quality, classic bike at a fair price, this is the only place to go in Fort Wayne. He also buys used bikes, but not bikes that were not made in America that came from giant , big store so don't waste your time with that.
If you believe old bikes are better and want to remove rust and grime yourself this might be the place to buy one. Difficult to see them stacked on top of each other on either side of a single file path through the store. "As is" condition- am regretting what I paid for a bike I have to take somewhere to see if it can be made rideable.
What a great place! The owner really knows his stuff. He helped me upgrade my fat bike. He did a spectacular job and really went the extra mile. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

The owner Nathan is a person of genuine knowledge and heart. Just talking to him, you realize that you are in good hands. I ordered two quality bikes for my kids for Christmas.
