I just tried to make an emergency appointment with Dr. Clemente or any of the other available doctors at East State Veterinary Clinic. I explained to the receptionist that my miniature Dachshund had developed a goose egg size tumor like abcess growth on her hind leg over the weekend. She can no longer walk and refuses to eat. This growth is huge and I fear immediate treatment is absolutely necessary. I was informed that all doctors were fully booked for the day with no compassion or concern in her voice.
I have literally spent thousands of dollars over the years taking my two Dachshunds to this clinic. After this cold shoulder treatment, they can rest assured I will NEVER EVER spend another dime or step foot in that clinic again!!
We switched vets after the death of a pet. East State was our new vet. They were our vet for three years. The Doctors are wonderful and worked well with our pets. The office staff was wonderful to work with. I took one star off because they are supposed to send out vaccine reminders which I never received once. The vaccine reminders were something I was looking forward to receiving. Then when our dog had his surgery the paper says they will notify you when your pet is out of surgery which didn't happen. Other than the reminders the office staff is very organized which was a must have after dealing with our other vets staff.
I felt really great when I was told either pay us 800 immediately or take her home and let her die. F you east state
Great staff. Everyone is friendly and seems to enjoy their jobs. Also interact well with the animals.
Very good people the staff is excellent they work with me since I am low income and give my service dogs the best of care
