Nearly 30-Days later, we were advised that they wanted to wait until the following electric bill was delivered to compare and adjust accordingly. The following electric bill, though still higher than anticipated due to an ongoing issue (still not resolved) with an open vent to the outside in which all our heat is escaping, was nearly $200 less than the prior bill, and the prior 30-days was much colder than the last billing cycle.

Its easy to find your way around. We had to drop off a friend and you could see the signs to get there and they accommodate the deaf with a sign saying drive slow some people are deaf.

The owners of the property, Sun Communities, is appalling in every respect. They are completely inept. You can prove beyond a shadow of doubt that there is an error was made on behalf of the community and they refuse to rectify it. I will not tolerate that, and they WILL be seeing the inside of a court office if they refuse to cooperate with the smallest request. I have no problem identifying exactly what monies have been lost by the ineptitude involved in this company, and a few bucks is a far cry different from what I've actually lost. And if I have to pursue in court, I'll be collecting the entirety of what I've lost. Period.

Honestly, this is the worst place I have lived in the 10 years I have lived in Fort Wayne. I have lived in 8 different communities within the past 10 years, and I have never been so frustrated.

I requested a $200 credit in light of the ridiculous increase in our electric bill. I didn't even attempt to request for repayment for hours lost at work due to their ineptitude.

The front office staff are nice to talk to, but they are often unresponsive to concerns addressed and leave the community in the dark about what is going on with just about anything - even maintenance that regards the specific home is treated as if the tenant of the home doesn't need to know what is going on.

Their maintenance "staff" is appalling. You can be extremely specific as to what maintenance request you need to have worked on and the maintenance guy cannot seem to figure out what you're talking about. To top it off, they leave their stuff laying around. I once came home to a ladder that sat in my home for almost a week before maintenance came and removed it.

I highly recommend staying away from all properties owned by Sun Communities unless you want to throw your money into the fire - which is what we are about to do just to stay warm. (Keep in mind, when I say warm, I'm talking 65 degrees Fahrenheit, cause that's where our thermostat is set when we're home).

The first two appointments with maintenance, nobody showed up and nobody called the entire day. I had to call the following business day to find out what happened and excuses were made. Maintenance was more than 2 hours late on the third appointment and all they did was determine that a professional crew needed to come to repair the furnace.

Let it be noted that I am STILL waiting on repairs to be completed to seal our home from the outside air. No call has been made and anytime I ask for an update, it takes more than 3 days to get any kind of answer.

It is blatantly obvious that the increase in our bill was due to the community's lack of efficiency and professionalism. To date, I have been offered a $50 gift card versus the well-deserved $200 credit toward our rent.

The crew they hired did not finish the repair, had to return, then installed the wrong part, had to return, missed their appointment, had to return again. All of this was addressed with the community office.

I addressed a concern with maintenance over 3 months ago (early November) regarding a significant loss in heat as well as several other maintenance concerns. Due to two separate and faulty installations/repairs to our furnace, our electric bill rose from less than $150 up to $360 within a 30-day period. I was very specific as to what the problem was, and an appointment with maintenance was scheduled.

It's a nice place to raise a daughter and it's quiet and peaceful neighborhood watch

It's very very nice but waaay too expensive
