TL;DR: Great food, staff reveals why it's called "Blaze" Pizza

I highly recommend trying Blaze Pizza out. The biggest problem is now it will be tough to visit other pizza establishments.

We were 3 blocks away and called to see how long the wait time was. The person who answered the phone told us that it takes about 3 minutes to get through the line and another 2 to cook the pizza. When we arrived there were about 20 people in front of us. I figured they must be really fast, nope was totally wrong. Took 45 minutes to get our pizza. Both the wife and myself both agreed, there's much better pizza at several other shops in Ft Wayne. Not really a big fan of this place.

We could have cut the time way down had we ordered online. We literally could have ordered before leaving home, about 10 - 15 minutes away, and our scrumptious pizza would have been ready to greet us.

Food was good, and of good value for the price. The service was nice and courteous. They did seem very unorganized, waited about 10 min for dough, so we just had to stand there awkwardly at the counter and wait. If you go during the afternoon take sunglasses, the large windows let the sunlight beam in full blast. The staff was shielding their eyes the whole time with their hands. Once they actually had the pizza in the oven, it took about another 6 min or so, very resonable.

The entire time we were there the line extended to the door. At first glance we almost chose to go elsewhere. So glad we stayed. The line actually moved very quickly and in no time we were ordering what proved to be a very delicious pizza. We built our own.

By the way, they also have gluten free crust available for $2 more.

The food is great, although apparently a lot of people thought the same, as they were slammed when we got there (~30 min wait). The staff were all friendly, but they had a few space cadets in there. One of the staff completely forgot to ask about vegetables, then remembered again before placing the pizza in the oven. Another (the guy at the cut and box station) was either completely new or completely high, as he attempted to pick up my pizza from the middle with tongs (causing some of the toppings to fall off) and was apparently confused when my mother asked for arugala on her pizza.

I couldn't tell you how the food was because the line was out of control. I understand it's new, it just didn't seem like an effective ordering process. However, I saw a few pizzas come out before we decided to leave and they looked fun. Not your typical pizzas. I'll have to give it another try when I'm prepared to wait. Facility was clean and hip.
