Wish I could give a zero! This guy is dangerously reckless at best! Staff is reckless and messes up your prescriptions and doesn't even know what you are taking after you fill out all their paperwork. All they care about is getting paid. They don't call you back for days leaving you to suffer.
I was a patient with Dr. Kadambi for several years. I never missed an appointment or called before to cancel. In 2016 I missed one appointment without realizing I had even scheduled it. The office staff was very rude when I called about the $50 no show bill I received. The secretaries never answered the phone and also did not call me back. After several tries they finally did call back but left a message asking me to call again. This then happened multiple times leaving me in a never ending cycle of calls getting nowhere.
My M-I-L was a patient here. The stories I have heard from her- what a despicable office!!! The front staff is irresponsible, rude, mean, and completely unorganized. Do not waste your time, because the Dr. obvious trusts their word over his patients' every time. The one receptionist needs to be fired and should never work in customer service ever again. The Dr. may be great, but your front office staff is the face of your practice, and the face of this one is UGLY!!
I have been coming to Fort Wayne Endocrinology for about a year. I had spent a year and a half before that trying to get my thyroid meds regulated following a total thyroidectomy due to papillary thyroid caner. They have drawn very in depth labs to get a clear picture of my health, and they routinely prescribe T3 meds, which are often the missing link in thyroid patients feeling well. But beyond these things is the fact that they listen to me AND they respect me and what I say. They don't treat me solely on what the labs say, they ask about my symptoms. I leave every single appointment feeling hopeful, which is saying a lot, when thyroid hormones are a mess. :) I am so so thankful to be a patient at Fort Wayne Endocrinology.
Have been seeing Dr. Kadambi for 5 months & I am very pleased. When I pulled into his parking lot for my 1st appointment I sat in my car & thought "why am I wasting my time." The last Dr who treated me, I had no results. She tested me to death & I spent thousands of $ in 2 years. Dr Kadambi treating my thyroid & hormones & I feel better than I have in years. He is very concerned with how you feel, not some number a text book says is ideal. The tests Dr. Kadambi orders are reasonable while he finds your correct dosage. I saw the NP and liked her as well. I am always asked if I prefer to see the Dr or a NP. Without me asking the NP offered to write an order for tests she thought I could get done in network so it would be cheaper. It would not have been cheaper but I appreciated her looking into ways to save me money. I have no idea what the front desk problems people are talking about, I have not had any bad experiences. I feel like if you don't give details I cannot take your review seriously because I cannot validate if the problem was real.
I can understand a no show fee but their's is outrageous. This instance was the last straw for me. His labwork is very highly priced as is the medication he prefers to put his patients on. I've waited for 2 hours because he books too many appointments in one day. Most of the time you don't even see Dr. Kadambi you just see the Nurse Practitioners (which were very nice ladies). I finally had to fire him as my doctor. It's so hard to find a good endocrinologist. Hopefully, if you choose to see Dr. Kadambi your experience is better than mine. I'll be on the lookout for someone else.
