Every time I go in I find what I'm looking for. They have everything from fiction to obscure science and math books to tabletop RPG's. The owner and all of his staff are great to be around and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Plus they have the best store cats around!
Hyde Brothers is an amazing book store— not only does the shop have a good selection, but it has great character that makes it a destination for book shopping and not just s chore. Whether it’s the old library track ladders or the shop cat, you’ll find yourself looking for books for hours. My girlfriend found a first edition of To Kill a Mockingbird here, so they definitely have good stock.

They have a live in cat for anyone is allergic. Good variety of books even their basement has some.
Hyde Brothers' has always been a haven for me, it has a great environment (and of course great cats). While I was sitting in the store, a cat climbed onto my lap, and then climbed onto my shoulder as I was reading a book, and chilled there for a few minute. This obviously means it's a 5-star establishment.
