A great place to go spend time alone, with a partner or friend and the entire family. There's a gift shop that's accessible without needing entrance into the zoo itself. The train ride is a hit with the kids, but don't expect to see any animals. It takes you around the pond where you view ducks.
My family and I visit this zoo a few times a year. Definitely preferred over the Indianapolis zoo. Fun for all ages. Food court within is next to the sting ray exhibit, but it's a bit pricey and not very good. I suggest packing a cooler. They have a few picnic tables out front and a lot of places to lay down a blanket.
Usually get right in. Prices are very reasonable. Animals and attractions will amaze you. Food is great! Cute gift shop. A fun time!
You can never go wrong coming to this zoo. It's much more affordable and larger than the Indianapolis zoo. The zoo is clean and the animals all look very healthy.
The log ride takes you by the kangaroo exhibit and you can wave to those standing on the bridge.
I love this zoo. It is very well taken care of. The zookeeepers are all very nice and informative. I love to come here for class work. They have great camps that they offer. They also have sleepovers which is new to me. Overall a wonderful zoo!
