We came from out of state and frankly I am a little shocked at the fights and bullying that took place in this school. At the end of the year awards ceremony kids who had been suspended for fighting received terrific kid awards and citizenship awards. However, the kids they beat up received nothing. I guess kids who had never been in trouble are not terrific kids. Maybe their parents do not make enough money or maybe their parents are not employed by the school district? On the academic side of things the teachers are fairly good although if your child needs extra help in a subject they will have meetings with you, but not much will be accomplished outside of that.
Niece and Nephew go to this school and they put together really neat plays. Education wise, they really work with the kids and have a vested interest in their education.
Teachers are great. Administration is awesome as well. They really care about the education our kids are getting and it shows. Special education program is the best we've experienced. So thankful for this school and district.
