My sister recommended that I go through Kaufmann to help find a house for my boyfriend and I to rent. The staff was very friendly and helpful there. They were also upfront and made sure you understood the paperwork. We found a lovely home because of them and think they are definitely worth going to if you need to find a place to call home.
These people don't fix stuff when you call they take a long time to respond and don't notify you when they are working on stuff water has been off for 3 days and they never notified me
The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Lied and said they couldn't contact my references when 3 other agencies had no problems. Accepted and denied me in the same phone conversation simply because I stated facts and pointed out the truth about their agency and the way they operate. I wish I wouldn'thave wasted my money on an app fee in the first place. I'm sure they treat alot of people with the same disrespect.. they also criticized my present life situation. Hung up on me when I said I was calling the BBB!! ** Don't waste your time or money on this so called agency.. they pick and choose who is "good enough"...
Uhg! Where do I even start with this ghetto place? If I were you, I would’ve have not moved in here a year ago. I lived in an apartment duplex that was shared with 2 other people with separate doors. You have no guaranteed parking spots!!!! There is a big church right across the street that has this annoying, loud bell that rings every hour of the day. Sunday’s are terrible! From 11am-3, the streets are packed with people taking your parking spot just to go to the church. Oh & let me not get started on the violence. There were shooting right across the street, & Harrison street has been yellow taped so many times due to murders & rachet neighbors. Oh yeah, & if your a girl, you will get stalked, talked to & stared at by neighbors both beside you and across the street. I also got over charged for an air conditioner. In the past 8 months, i have had mice in the duplex. Maintenance did nothing. Speaking of maintenance, they are rude and bang on your door if you don’t answer within 10 seconds. They also walk in your house whenever & snitch to the manager about stuff they see in your house. They almost charged us for water spilling out of a stand up shower that THEY decided to build on the top. I got charged for water damages that were not even our faults. I warn you my fellow strangers, do not stay here! Please do not waste your time nor your money on this over priced dump! Me & my boyfriend are never staying here again & will make sure Kauffman is a bad name spreaded around.
