DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO PUT A REQUEST TO HAVE A PACKAGE DELIVERED TO YOUR BACK DOOR. THEY WON'T DO IT.
I have missing mail that I never received. I can't get ahold of anyone for the current status! I went to website to arrange 2-3 deliveries! I never had this problem before either. Then checked the tracking number and said it was delivered @ my mailbox. But, I still haven't received my package. So, I had to file a missing mail report on the website. Not happy.
Wish I could give them a -10 because they definitely do not deserve the one star. These people steal your stuff!! Yesterday my envelope was scratched open in the middle and my things were taken out. Another package from last week completely "lost." I have tried to call numerous times and just get a busy tone. Extremely poor post office. 0/10 recommend.
I'm beyond pissed at USPS. Sat at home with my husband all day 9/16/17 waiting for a signature required certified mail. Checked the mail box numerous throughout the day. Finally checking the tracking number at 4:09pm and it says that they attempted to deliver at 3:45pm but no one authorized was available to sign. This "so-called" attempt was by placing a 3894 form (orange slip) inside my mailbox. My front door was even open! The mail delivery person did not even bother to get out of the truck. I'm furious, calls the only post office line opened on a Sat., after about an hr wait on the phone, I filed a "formal" complaint, whatever that's worth.
Absolutely disgusting. Now they don't want to do the ONE thing that the post office is supposed to do...deliver your mail. Instead of getting off their butts and walking to the door to deliver a signature package they just leave a card in your mailbox. Was home all day with my fiancée and our dogs and the doorbell never rang once. When I called a woman named Ellen promised they'd get it to me, then when she thought the call was over without hanging up proceeded to tell a coworker that I was "raising hell." Needless to say the package never arrived and I didn't get so much as a call back. If you can avoid using the USPS do it. There's no accountability and they know it so there's no consequences for not doing your job. I have many more similar stories from "lost" packages to being lied to but being insulted behind my back was the last straw.
