I have been to this office SEVERAL times, and at the old location also...this location seems to have very knowledgeable and fairly helpful people working here. I was in a HORRIBLE mood the one visit, but when I got to the window my attitude was changed immediately. I had just lost my Mom and everything seemed to be going all wrong that day, when the lady smiled and asked how she could help make my day better. From that second on my day was brighter.
I was there yesterday morning around 9:10am to get printouts, I went to window 2. That worker was rude and I felt disrespectful, she seemed to not want to help me at all, and she had a rude snap back when I was double checking that she understood all the paperwork that I needed. She was not friendly at all. People like her should be behind the scenes and stay far away from customer service. I have had her before and that encounter did not go well either, she didn’t help me like she was supposed to and a supervisor was informed. She really needs to be away from customers if she won’t do her job professionally.
No appointment but my wait wasn't long. The man I spoke with was very knowledgeable. I was a little scattered because my life partner was in the hospital, but he was able to help me focus and understand my own business.
Everyone was super friendly and worked quickly. Obviously the wait time was long but I'm not sure what anyone expects when so many people show up needing SS help. It's silly to blame the employees for your long wait time, it's simply because you have to wait in line. When I was done waiting my turn it took all of 5 minutes to get my name changed.
I don't understand all the terrible reviews for this office. I had a great experience. It was my first time coming here and I was clueless to what I was doing. The receptionist was very kind and asked me to sign in on the machine. I waited in the lobby MAYBE a whole 10 minutes, which I didn't feel was bad at all. I was called back to a window to another very helpful employee and she got me out of there within another 10 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised! Nice people and work very efficiently.
