" hold on I want to see my hair". She acted irritated with me. I stood up and asked her what she thought of my hair., and she said I think it looks nice in a very condescending and snotty way. I said do you feel that the top blends in with the bottom half? She said yes. I then also asked her If Im still predominately blonde? She said yes. So before I even said anything about anything she said "well you said you wanted it darker". I pulled out my phone and showed her the picture again and asked her if it was close to the picture? I even asked the other stylist and of course they won't throw her under the bus but I knew they knew. During this conversation of trying to figure out a solution to fixing my hair, Destiny was extremely unprofessional and was defensive. Im not quite sure why she is working in the industry of hair when you need to be able to communicate properly throughout the process in good or bad. Even if my hair turned out good I still would have the same views on her because of several issues that she lacks in just basic skills in being personable and making it an enjoyable experience. The salon did however make it right by not charging me and allowing me to find another stylist elsewhere.
Excellent staff and service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this salon to a friend.
Stay clear of stylist Destiny. She has to be the rudest person in this industry and I got her on short notice and she was available and now I know why. Her communication skills are just not there. I had a hard time explaining to her with a picture of what I wanted and she just wasn't getting it. Her coworker understood and tried helping her. As she brought out the product to start coloring my hair I asked her what are we doing so I could confirm we were on the same page and she just kept saying it will be fine and to trust her. I kept reiterating to her how I wanted it to look and I was worried that it wasn't going to. After a long 3 hour process of silence and held in anxiousness of not knowing how it was going to turn out she was washing me out and I asked to look at it with a mirror at the bowl and said " just wait". I still had my daughter grab the mirror and saw "some" of the horror. I then pointed out to her that I had one large streak of blonde in the front of my hair line and could also tell it was too dark. She acted as if it's nothing and said that's what happens when I do that technique. She knew I wasted happy with... nor should I have been. She then blow dries my hair making sure I'm turned away from the mirror the whole time. She was about to style my hair when I said
I've gotten my makeup, nails and hair done on multiple occasions and every time the stylists have been very nice, helpful and professional.
Not a bad place at all. very friendly, relaxing and beautiful.
