The deck is always popular to enjoy. Food is great, service adequate.

This is my favorite place in Fort Wayne. Cozy, peaceful, and most importantly, enjoy the outdoor bar by the river called the ' Deck '. Great place to eat or just have a drink. Weekends are very busy. Best bartender ever- they mixed your drinks just the way u want it. Love this place
Got right in on a Friday night. Service was excellent. Food was good but not outstanding. Gumbo had 1 small shrimp and celery. Where is the rice, saugage, etc. Jumbalya was good, but had lots of vegetables that weren't listed on menu (not big on veggies). Taste was very good. Huge portions. Overall good but not great.
The carriage ride was great.
the steak that I waited all week to get was quite tough; my wife ordered fish that was chewy. Neither dinner was hot.
For the money it was a bad experience.
Went there a week ago after making reservations and looking forward to a great steak dinner with my wife. We also made a reservation to get a carriage ride.
The Gas House is on the ground floor and there is a Japanese Steakhouse upstairs. You go in the same door for both restaurants. The menu at the Gas House isn't huge, but what is offered has been carefully selected and is very well made. The staff is friendly and helpful and is able to answer all questions about the food. Moderately priced in a cozy atmosphere. Free cake on your birthday!
On the plus side the server did a great job.
